To the north, the vast Makgadikgadi Salt Pans shimmer where a prehistoric lake once stood. The country is divided into four major drainage basins, but most rivers are seasonal and dry up outside the rainy season.About 27% of Botswana is covered in forest, mainly on private land, with key areas protected to support biodiversity and conservation.

CAPE PROVICE & GARDEN ROUTE
Historic Heart of Cape Town & Beyond
Discover the Western Cape's Natural and Cultural RichesNestled on the shores of Table Bay, the City Bowl is Cape Town’s oldest developed area, framed by the natural amphitheatre of Table Mountain, Signal Hill, and Devil’s Peak. This historic heart of the city is home to iconic landmarks such as the Company’s Garden, the Castle of Good Hope, and the Parliament Buildings — all bearing witness to South Africa’s layered past.On 6 April 1652, Jan van Riebeeck arrived on behalf of the Dutch East India Company (VOC) to establish a refreshment station for ships en route to East Africa, India, and the Far East. This marked the foundation of what would become Cape Town.Today, the City Bowl blends its colonial heritage with the energy of a modern city, offering a vibrant mix of architecture, cuisine, art galleries, museums, and a deep connection to the country’s complex history.Journey Along the Garden Route
Stretching from Mossel Bay to Storms River, the Garden Route is one of the most scenic drives in the world. With its lush forests, mountain passes, lakes, and pristine beaches, this route is perfect for travellers seeking natural beauty and soft adventure.Stop in charming towns like Knysna, Plettenberg Bay, and Wilderness, or visit Tsitsikamma National Park for coastal walks and suspension bridges that offer breathtaking ocean views.Whether you're hiking, whale-watching, or simply enjoying a coastal sunset, the Garden Route delivers unforgettable memories.Namaqualand is an arid region of Namibia and South Africa, extending along the west coast over 1,000 km and covering a total area of 440,000 km². It is divided by the lower course of the Orange River into two portions – Little Namaqualand to the south and Great Namaqualand to the north.Western Cape Flower Tours
Each spring (August to October), the Western Cape bursts into colour as the Cape Floral Kingdom reveals its spectacular bloom. From Namaqualand to Clanwilliam and beyond, millions of wildflowers carpet the landscape — a natural event unlike any other.
Our flower tours are guided by experienced locals who understand the delicate timing and best viewing spots for these short-lived wonders. Combined with visits to quaint towns and wine farms, it's a seasonal journey that captures the soul of the Cape.
